What should I know before using it?
- Replace works only with embedded searchable text; OCR is not included.
- Pages containing replacements are flattened on export, so their links, forms, and searchable text are removed.
- Visual signatures are not cryptographic digital signatures.
Does PDF Eye change untouched pages?
Untouched pages are copied from their source. Overlay-only pages retain their original page geometry, while replacement pages are intentionally flattened.
Can I edit a scanned PDF?
You can add visual objects and markup, but scanned text cannot be selected or replaced without OCR.
